At Oasys, we are deeply committed to creating a rewarding and sustainable future for smallholder farmers. Through Oasys’ value-chain investments, small-holder farmers and processors are able to overcome seasonality and perishability constraints, access global markets for their crops thereby increasing their income earnings which ultimately improves the livelihoods of the agriculture labor force.
This assures a future whereby their incomes and living standards rise, that way current and future generations see smallholding as viable and attractive business.
We believe this is the key to increasing the wellbeing and prosperity of smallholder farmers – as a company, our future success will depend on theirs.
Our Commitment to FEMALE Farmers
The female farmers in the shea butter value-chain epitomize our commitment to gender equality and sustainability. We provide income earnings for dozens of women involved in agro-processing, thereby increasing household incomes among the rural population. This helps to alleviate female income equality and youth unemployment while reducing poverty and providing better living conditions for individuals across the agric value chain in Nigeria.
Through our end to end value-chain involvement, we are able to enhance food security, extend shelf-life of agro commodities and ultimately improve palatability and export value of Nigeria’s agricultural commodities.

Originally with a backgorund in architecture and estate management, Adamu applies his rigorous and meticulous nature to his endeavours.
